My name is Kathy Bragg, mother of five.. I have stage 4 cancer, live in Louisville, Ky. I was first diagnosed at age 39, no family history. Our lives changed dramatically, thought everything was fine after 18 rounds of chemo, loosing my hair, our youngest was in 3rd grade. My cancer came back in my lymphs and bone. I’m treated at James Brown Cancer center now and have had 31 treatments of Kadcyla under Dr Elizabeth Riley. I’ve had Cyber Knife, radiation and numerous surgeries. After learning my cancer came back, my prognosis was 23 months…it’s going on 5 years now. I’m currently 47, my youngest is a junior in high school, I’m a grandmother. I love so much deeper and am so proud that I, my kids and husband have grown so much through very difficult circumstances. It’s been a blessing in disguise. I fight every day because they do.
