Mitosis study identifies new potential target for cancer therapy

When a cell divides, it is called mitosis. Mitosis is essential to life, but it is a process that goes haywire in cancer. Researchers have discovered that that chromosomes of the copied begin to pull away to form a new cell (a process called anaphase), a protein called Ki-67.
