One of our families are in need of some extra love and support! Please consider donating to our dear friends Go Fund Me. Their darling 22-month-old son Lukas has cancer, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) to be exact, on March 19th. As you can imagine, these first weeks of chemo, blood transfusions, spinal taps, steroids, and bone marrow biopsies have been mentally, emotionally and physically taxing. Their lives are forever changed. He had surgery to place a port in his chest which is used to receive chemotherapy once a week and he will continue to receive treatments for the next 3.5 years. We all know how emotionally draining a situation like this can be, so any support is more than appreciated. Thank you for the outpouring of love and prayers–it means the world to their family. Lukey is taking on this beast of a disease with so much courage. We can’t wait for the day he is cancer free.

On March 19, 2019, Lukas Voelz, who is just shy of his 2nd birthday, was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Our world came to a halt at that moment and will be forever changed.
Immediately following the diagnosis, his treatment began. Lukas received a bone marrow biopsy and a spinal tap to determine the type of leukemia he had. Lukas underwent surgery to place a port in his chest which will be used to provide chemotherapy treatments for the next 3.5 years. Currently he receives his Chemo treatment once a week along with blood transfusions to help keep him strong.
Our 22 month old Lukas is strong, brave, and a fighter! We know he will beat this and go on to do great things. Lukas’ mom, dad, and 4.5 year old brother Jakob just want to see Lukas healthy, happy, and playing again.
Cancer, in any form, is emotionally and physically draining. A cancer diagnosis in a 22 month old, is something no parent should ever have to cope with. Hopefully we can help alleviate some of the financial burden that weighs on the Voelz family at this time.
Please share this page, and continue to keep Lukas in the forefront of your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and to help out in any way that you can. Any donation, is so deeply appreciated.
With grateful hearts,
The Voelz Family
