HEAR THE LITTLE THINGS YOU LOVE
As an independent office, we focus on each patient as an individual, and develop a personalized Healthy Hearing Treatment Plan. Our medical recommendations are dependent on your hearing, your listening environments, and your needs. We are always up to date on the newest technology that can help you hear to your fullest potential.
Recent Medical Research from Johns Hopkins Medical Center indicates that hearing loss can be a leading cause for developing Dementia. A medical study at Johns Hopkins Medical Center found that hearing loss can increase your risk of developing Dementia by 200-500%. Social isolation, cerebral atrophy (aka. brain shrinkage) and increased cognitive load (e.g. the amount of work your brain uses to hear) are considered to be the basis of hearing loss-induced dementia – even for individuals with a mild hearing loss.
But…. recent evidence from Columbia University finds that restoring hearing with today’s leading treatment options could prevent or slow down the development of Dementia.
OUR LOVE IS TO SERVE OTHERS
The sense of hearing is a primary element in our world today and as such it requires a treatment plan encompassing far more than the sale of a hearing instrument. We believe in treating the entire hearing system, not just selling a product and moving on to the next patient; but rather, the experience and journey we will share together for many years to come. Our philosophy is improve your ability to understand the speech details of our spoken language, locate the direction of human speech, reduce the energy and effort it takes to hear in background noise, and to personalize your treatment plan to suit your needs. In order to boost your hearing ability and achieve these goals, our treatment plans are designed as a comprehensive approach and outlined below.
– Clinical Hearing Evaluations
– The Journey To Improved Speech Understanding
– Scientific Verification Of Improved Hearing Ability
– Learning To Listen Again With Brain Stimulation
– Ongoing Relationship And Personalization Of Hearing Needs
HEAR SMARTER. LIVE BETTER.
Many of today’s hearing aids use narrow directionality to help block out external sounds. This leads to an under-stimulation of the brain and ultimately to less enjoyable and effective social interactions. OPN hearing aids are able to process sound more efficiently. The result is a clear sound that delivers a rich acoustic experience. This full soundscape empowers the brain to choose what it wants to focus on, improving speech clarity while simultaneously reducing the amount of required mental effort.
