Story – After undergoing surgery in 2013, a spokesperson for him stated, “Dustin is feeling great and is in good health.”
His cancer was detected early, and as with anyone in remission, he is routinely screened and underwent preventative treatments.
His cancer diagnoses came on the heels of Michael Douglas’ announcement of HPV Cancer of the throat.
We don’t know what treatment Hoffman had to what caused his cancer, however we are happy he is healthy.

Dustin remains in good health today. He continues screenings for early detection, eating a healthy diet, and exercise. Having the surgery saved his life.
Causes Dustin supports now include cancer as well as various other charities he has and still does support, such as AIDS/HIV, Health, Mental Health, Education, the Creative Arts, and peace to name a few.
Dustin is also on the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Actors’ Council. The SAG-AFTRA creates appreciation and backing for the organization’s free programs and means offered to SAG-AFTRA performers and families and their global children’s learning curriculums.
Dustin has been married to his second wife since 1980 and has six children, two sons, and four daughters. His wife and children helped him through his cancer treatment, and have been a source of great joy to him.
